Flying Solo

Well...not really "solo," just without my German girls. Anna and I took Nina to the train station this morning. We hauled her luggage onto the carriage and waved goodbye. At this point in my trip, I have really taken a disliking to buses, trains, and Jan's car--they keep taking all my friends away. On the bright side, both Lance and Diana are still in Wrocław as well, so it's not completely lonely. But I do miss my friends from the 16th floor.

Last night, we took Nina to the fountain in the Rynek for the customary "we survived Erasmus" photo.

The Master Plan:

Thursday July 10: Check out of Ołowek

Friday July 11: Fly to Frankfurt Germany, have a McFlurry with Lacey and visit Marburg, the town where she studies.

Sunday July 13: Lacey and I meet travel to Nina's home.

Tuesday July 15: Nina, Lace, and I take a train, a boat, and another train to an isle on the North Sea. Sometime while we are there, Lacey and I have been instructed to gather a water sample for Megan--she wants to test it for something.

Thursday July 17: Yet another train will take us to Hamburg and then to Luneburg, Nina's university city.

Saturday July 19: Lace and I board an express train heading south. She gets off in Berlin and I go all the way back toWrocław.

Monday July 21: America rejoyces as Maggie R. Mitteis returns home.

Who likes to make big circles through Germany? Pick me! And who wants to come to Poland and deep clean my flat? Anyone? As payment, I would take you for cheap peroigi.
