Purple--It's What's for Dinner

This is really all Nina's fault--I take no responsibility. She had the cabbage; I just brought carrots and chicken boullion. The plan was to attempt making barczsz, but we didn't have a recipe or the right ingredients. So, we improvised and ended up with this:

It seems that we may have gone overboard with the red cabbage.

Steffi decided that she wanted no part of our "expiramental soup creating," so she worked on her Islam in Europe project until dinner was ready.

She took one look at our concoction, laughed, and started playing Prince's "Purple Rain" on her computer. On the soup-ranking scale, "Purple-Not-Barszcz" sits somewhere above flaczki, but well bellow real barczsz and zurek.

Purple-Not-Barszcz, hahaha. That's what I would expect to happen to me cooking.
