An Ode to Misz Masz

Even though they serve flaczki, it's still my favorite milky bar in the city.
Everyone seems to be interested in the status of my classes, so here's a quick overview:

History of Sisilean Art and Culture: The material for this course is actually very interesting, but the professors lectures are a test of my will to retain conciousness.

History of Poland Since 1945: I really like this class...when I understand the jumble of political terms that coinside with the lectures.

Contemporary Polish Literature: The bane of my exsistance. During this class, I fanticize about gauging out my eye will a ball point pen...just to add a little excitement to the class. If nothing else, I would have a legitimate reason to leave...

Polish Language Class: Polish is a ridiculously hard language to begin with, so a teacher that flies through the lessons doesn't make things easier. However, on the up side, today's Polish class was probably the best we've had this semester: we learned things, I understood what was happening, and my head didn't feel as though it was on the verge of exploding. Several of my classmates took vodka shots just before the course began; I'm not sure if that had anything to do with the quality of today's class.

Anthroplogy of Theatre: Taught by "Crazy Theatre Guy" who I really hope will be my new best friend in the near future.

Polish Society in Transition: Hands down, my favorite class. The professor is sharp, witty, and very knowledgeable. I have this feeling that she's observing the sociological patterns of our class.

Ethics in Polish Theatre, Film, and Poetry: Taught by "Crazy Ethics Lady" who joins us each week for the "Crazy Theatre Guy" class. She has this huge green, beaded necklace that she wears almost everyday. She's really sarcastic and brash, and often asks, "Maggie, how do you say in American?" I like her...and her attitude.

How about a picture of "Crazy Theatre Guy" and "Crazy Ethics Lady"....preferably with her huge green beaded necklace of course.

Ethics, along with brash sarcasm? I have a feeling I would love Crazy Ethics Lady. She sounds like a few of my sociology and media literacy professors.
