Anyway, here's a synopsis of the past week:
Last Thursday night, my Ethics in Contemporary Polish Theatre, Poetry, and Film class attended a play at the "Song of Goat Theatre" (Yes, it's actually called that. And if Jay Chipman is reading this, you need to come to Poland so we can go there.) We saw "Lacrimosa," and it was phonemenal. Don't ask me to describe it--I can't. Nina, Steffi, and I have started refering to the show as "the giant ball of energy."
Here's the theatre; you would never know it was there unless someone pointed it out.
See, goats.
Diana making Bulgarian dinner last Saturday night. It was very good, but you should never drink anything offered to you by a Lithuanian. He had some weird snapps/whisky thing--disgusting. Steffi poured hers into someone's leftover juice that was sitting on the table.
Breakfast at Nina and Steffi's on Sunday morning. I made pancakes, and discovered that baking powder does not exsist in Europe.
On Sunday afternoon, Shail, Nina, and I ventured up to the top of St. Elizabeth viewing tower. For only 5zl, you get both a great view, and a near-death expirience on the stairs.
But we made it--safe and sound.

Afterwards, we went out for tea, and spent about an hour playing with the wax from this candle.
Wednesday afternoon was absolutely gorgeous, so I went to study at Hala Ludowa with Claire and Johan.
However, I learned a valuable lesson. Every three weeks, we can exchange our bed clothes in the Olowek basement. Ussually, the set times are Wednesday and Thursday from 10 - 2. Well, I put off exchanging mine on Wednesday so I could go to the park with Claire. Thursday, we didn't get back from class until 1:40. We ran upstairs, stripped our beds, and went back down to the basement. Well, when you're last to exchange, you get the crappy sheets. So, my room is now adorned by lepards...and the bottom sheet is bright pink.As you can see, Honey Joe is very much at home in his Outback Africa community.
On a completely differant note, Jody's prom was last weekend, and the mama sent me all the pictures. I couldn't get over how grown up both he and Rachelle looked. Please note: his vest and tie are camoflauge and their flowers are tipped in hunter orange. Rachelle puts up with a lot.
I had every intention of making this a more detailed post, but I got a little behind and I have so many more pictures to put up. So, this one is sort of slopped together. Sorry.

I don't like the way that leopard is looking at Honey Joe.
Great pictures as always. We love to see what you are seeing.
Miss you and love you lots!

This made me laugh out loud.
So did the pic of your bedsheets.
And, I’ll always forgive you for a sunset like that. They never cease to amaze me.
