Journey to the Buda

It has occurred to me--through both my own intuition and my Auntie Lori's subtle reminders--that I am very bad at keeping up with this blog.

Well...my apologies for once again being rather unexciting: the following is only a preview. In light of recent tragic events in Poland, the Fulbright crew will be rendezvousing in Kraków this weekend. As I write this, Leanne, Mike, and Ali are online, causing my computer to make strange digging sounds with all their instant messaging. We're making plans to journey south, observe the funeral activities...and stalk Obama. Frankly, he and I need to have a little conversation; I'm losing the year-long debate with my father because of his inability to make (good) decisions. Unacceptable.

On a happier note, Easter break was spent in Hungary with Warsaw Mike, Fulbrighter Leanne, Lacey, and Mike's guitar. We divided our time between Budapest, the capital, and the Lake Balaton area.
Since I will not be in Poznań for the majority of the weekend, I need to finish the work I had delegated (a fancy word for procrastinated) to that time. I shall post about both Easter and the current political situation ASAP.

In the mean time, here's Warsaw Mike and his guitar to keep you entertained.

Yeah, but you have to admit, Warsaw Mike and his guitar are pretty entertaining. Does he take requests?
