I am pleased to announce that I now have internet of my very own in my flat...and I only had to steal a password to get it. And then I had to coarse another Junior Fulbrighter into helping me configure my computer. I am very resourceful. As much as I will miss my park bench (where I could get wireless from a little cafe without having to buy anything--yes, I am that cheap), having the internet in my room is so much more convenient.
Tomorrow is the last day of orientation. And after ten days, I feel sufficiently orientated--it's been an information over-load. Hopefully, this weekend I will have a free moment to write more about the past week and all the other Fulbrighters spending a year in Poland. They're an interesting bunch--they're Obama people.

"Obama People"? OK..that's it...I'm officially shutting down my "homepage"...
:-)
Yes, I was missing you! Glad that you are back online!!
Interesting about the Obama people. I was talking to my friend Beca (who's in London again for grad school) on Skype yesterday (I saw you were online! But I also saw your mommy online, so I figured you two were chatting) and she said that the Obama/Nobel thing wasn't going over well there. Which kinda surprised me, since last I knew the UK adored him (until Michelle touched the Queen I guess...)
